The Joint, which as played host to various famed artists throughout the years in Los Angeles, took a chance and showcased a young rising talent from Canada this past weekend, and he blew the audience away!
Isaac Basal, a 15-year-old YouTube and music sensation from North of the border, brought his talent (and dancers) to Hollywood for the first time ever to support the No Bull Anti-Bullying Awareness Charity Music Event. Basal, a huge advocate for anti-bullying, took to the stage at the sold-out event in front of hundreds of screaming young fans to spread his music and positive words of support to those who have faced bullying.
With his hit single No Other Girl blasting through the sound system at the historic venue, Basal made sure to leave his mark in Hollywood prior to his return to his hometown of Montreal, Canada. Basal's swag (wearing both HOPE and NO BULL t-shirts during his set), dance moves, vibe and unique pop sound, is truly something that is lacking in today's market.
Being compared to the likes of fellow Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber, Basal tells StarPulse, "I support Justin and his career, however, I'm my own person, I have my own sound, and I hope that people can see that." Well, after watching Basal perform live for the first time, we can't help but admit that we are excited for his career and to see him take over from Bieber as Canada's next bright young pop star!
