Call them the good-luck charms of the Grammy Awards. Costume guru Marina Toybina and her team take on the music awards each year and come away golden, while making artists have unforgettable performances!
Toybina, who won her second Emmy Award last year for her incredible costume designs of Taylor Swift and her dancers for their 2013 Grammy Awards performance seems to have another sure lock-in for 2014 with the remarkable, highly-detailed costumes seen on Katy Perry's dancers during their performance of Dark Horse with rapper Juicy J.
One of the stand alone performances of the evening, Toybina's team - including Allison Habel, Courtney Webster, Gabrielle Letamendi, Alyssa Haynie, Kelsey Hightower and Marina Bogin - helped bring forth the Dark Horse vision by bringing alive the dancers and visuals for a performance that would even have Tim Burton saying, "WOW, SCARY"!
From fun and energetic with Swift, to dark and eerie with Perry, there is no challenge to bold for this brave golden team! We here at StarPulse can't wait to see what they come up with next!
