‘Please Like Me' Sheds Comedic Light on Gen Y

Amidst a sea of mainstream shows starring unrealistically hot characters in even more unrealistic situations, pivot TV's original comedy series Please Like Me explores the realistic elements of navigating life as a twentysomething-year-old, from exploring sexual orientation to dealing with a pill-popping mother.

Please Like Me is an Australian show from comedian Josh Thomas that captures all the angst, triumphs, pain and utter hilarity of growing up. The comedy draws from Thomas's own real life experiences and airs exclusively on pivot on August 1 in a marathon block of six episodes.
