Former N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos has been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.
On Tuesday morning, the 24 year-old singer was detained by police and taken to a London police station for questioning. The police are said to be conducting a search of her home in Hertfordshire, England, as well as another residential property. Contostavlos was arrested along with an unnamed 35-year-old man.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police says, "Officers from Westminster have arrested two people - a 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman - on suspicion of supplying class A drugs. They are in custody at a Central London police station."
The arrest comes just days after Contostavlos was targeted by undercover reporters working for Britain's The Sun
newspaper, who alleged the singer was caught on camera agreeing to arrange a cocaine deal worth $1,240 in May.
Contostavlos left the judging panel of Britain's The X Factor
last month and was replaced by TV regular Sharon Osbourne
