LeAnn Rimes Opens Up About Her Conception Fears
LeAnn Rimes is examining her family planning options with husband Eddie Cibrian because she worries she will have trouble conceiving, like her mother.
The country singer is already a stepmom to Cibrian's two sons with ex-wife Brandi Glanville, however Rimes is hoping to have children of her own.
She tells People.com, "Whenever I talk about kids, I'm like, 'Let's have one!' I have a lot of work to do now but I'm totally ready if it happens."
Nevertheless, the 30 year old admits she might have to turn to adoption or rely on a surrogate to become a mom, explaining, "It took my mom 12 years to have me. I hope I don't have that (issue) but if I do, then a surrogate is something I've thought about. Eddie and I have also talked about adopting."
"My capacity to love a child doesn't stop at my own eggs, obviously!"
And when the time comes, she's holding out hope for a girl to even out their household: "Testosterone is all around here so I need a little girl!"
