The high school years weren't kind to "Game Of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage, who recently revealed the he and a friend half heartedly talked about committing suicide to escape the torment.
The actor, 43, has a form of Dwarfism that apparently made him an outcast among his peers at his New Jersey high school.
He told Playboy magazine: "Everything in high school feels like it's life or death. I went to a pretty athletic high school, and I didn't have many friends. I remember once talking to my best friend, and we came up with the idea that we should hang ourselves off the bell tower: 'That'll show them!'
"We totally had no inclination to commit real suicide at all; we just liked the idea of the whole town responding to this tragedy, how the school would mourn... We were so dramatic."
He also said: "High school is a funny thing. On one hand you're so fragile. But I thought I was William Burroughs by the age of 13, so I had this massive ego as well."
In the interview, Dinklage also talks about accepting acting roles based on his size, being a DwILF, performing puppet shows for the neighbors as a kid, and receiving an interesting gift from a "Game Of Thrones" fan prior to taking the stage for a commencement speech.
