Daft Punk Not Performing At 2013 Coachella
A representative for Daft Punk has dismissed reports the dance stars are set to make a surprise appearance at the upcoming Coachella festival in California.
The Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger hit-makers were not part of the line-up when it was unveiled in late January, but fans were led to believe the duo could be on the bill after label bosses listed the event on the band's official Vevo.com page on Wednesday.
However, a spokesperson for the group has moved swiftly to shoot down the speculation, telling Rolling Stone, "Daft Punk is not performing at Coachella this year."
Blur, Stone Roses, Phoenix and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are all performing at the festival, which takes place over two weekends in April in Indio, California.
