The estate of late director Tony Scott has been hit with a creditor's claim from executives of a Hollywood talent agency for more than $1 million in unpaid commissions.

Lawyers for Creative Artists Agency (CAA) have filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court stating company bosses are entitled to 10 per cent of Scott's fees for projects he was involved with before he jumped to his death from a bridge in California last August.

The suit claims the company is owed $450,000 for Man on Fire, $110,000 for The Taking of Pelham 123, $400,000 for Deja Vu and $70,000 for Unstoppable.

Scott's relatives insist they have no issue with the claim, with a representative for the family telling The Hollywood Reporter, "This is a standard legal procedure. The Scott estate has every intention to pay as soon as possible. Tony and CAA had a wonderful relationship."
