Django Unchained

Director Quentin Tarantino and the stars of his acclaimed Western Django Unchained have sold off a signed clapperboard to raise money for an Icelandic man preparing to undergo a double arm transplant.

Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson and Kerry Washington and Tarantino signed the autographed film slate and handed it to Gudmundur Felix when they heard of his ongoing fundraising efforts.

The one-of-a-kind clapperboard went under the hammer on auction website eBay.com and pulled in $4,250 for Felix, who is moving from Iceland to France in March  to await the operation.

Foxx took to his Twitter.com page to share news of the sale, writing, "Glad I could help out."

Felix's story is being recorded by a film crew for a documentary entitled New Hands, set for release next year.
