Julianne Hough danced a little too vigorously at a Golden Globes afterparty and ripped her gown.

The "Footloose" and former "Dancing With The Stars" pro tore up the dancefloor and also tore up her gown at the InStyle bash at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.

She wore a pink, floor-length Jenny Pakham silk dress with plunging neckline that was a little too tight for her moves.

At the end of the night the dress was transformed with two slits up her legs, leaving her thighs exposed.

Hough posted an image on Twitter, writing: "Ummm I think I may have danced too hard.... Eeek!!!!... I love to dance regardless of how expensive a dress may be... You can't hold me down!!!"

She later added:"Ummm again... I love to dance regardless of how expensive a dress may be... You can't hold me down!!! :)"
