British singer Lily Allen gave birth to her second child on Tuesday, a baby girl called Marnie. The infant arrived on the same date as David Bowie and Elvis Presley's birthdays.
Allen, who adopted her husband Sam Cooper's surname and became Lily Rose Cooper, also has a 14-month old daughter named Ethel.
A source told British tabloid The Sun: "Marnie is a real cutie. Sam and Lily are ecstatic about adding another girl to the family."
Over the last few weeks the singer has been tweeting about her pregnancy and her desperation to give birth. She even tried eating spicy food to speed up the delivery. In one post she wrote: "3rd curry this week... cosywomb."
Allen most recently appeared on P!nk's 2012 album, "The Truth About Love."
