Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have won a legal battle with a former aide who accused the couple of unfair dismissal.

Ana Luisa Charlotiaux worked at the couple's Chateau Miraval home in the tiny village of Brignoles in France, but claims she was dropped from her role as a translator for the house's staff while she was on sick leave.

She lodged a complaint in her native France, seeking $111,800 in compensation.

The case was heard by a judge in France on September 11th and a ruling was made in favor of the Hollywood couple, according to French website Leparisien.fr.

However, Charlotiaux's attorney Emmanuel Ludot insists his client wants to appeal against the decision.
