Hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs brushed off injuries he sustained in a recent car accident and channelled soul superstar Prince as he attended a Halloween party at the Playboy Mansion this weekend.

The rapper suffered minor issues with his neck, ribs and collarbone after his chauffeured SUV collided with a Lexus outside the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles on Wednesday. He was not hospitalised, but sought treatment from his own physicians after the incident.

However, Combs refused to let a little pain get in the way of his Halloween fun and he was back on his feet on Saturday to attend Hugh Hefner's spooky bash at the Playboy Mansion as "Purple Rain" hitmaker Prince, wearing a curly wig and an all-white outfit with a purple collared cape and carrying a white guitar.

His rumored girlfriend, singer Cassie, was also in attendance dressed as Cleopatra, while fellow guests at the event included socialite Paris Hilton, who was dressed as a fairy, and pop star Chris Brown.
