Rapper Kurupt has broken his silence following the shock death of his former fiancée Natina Reed, branding her passing a "tremendous loss."
The singer, who rose to fame in the 1990s with R&B group Blaque, died on Friday night after she was struck by a car in Georgia.
Her former Blaque bandmates Brandi Williams and Shamari Fears-DeVoe paid tribute to their pal following news of the tragedy, and now Kurupt - who was engaged to Reed in the early 2000s and has a 10-year-old son, Tren Brown, with the singer - has added his own memories of the star.
In a statement to MTV News, he writes, "Myself and Tren, Natina's son, would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this tragic time. This is a tremendous loss to our family. Natina was a great person and I wish everyone had the opportunity to meet her and know her as I did."
