Country singer Jason Aldean raised more than $500,000 for a cancer charity by staging a special show in Dallas, Texas on Saturday.
The My Kinda Party hit-maker finished his tour with a concert at the city's Gexa Energy Pavilion, and he pledged money from the concert to breast cancer organization Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Aldean has now thanked fans for their support and revealed the show garnered $509,000 for the cause.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Thanx to everyone in Dallas last nite for a great show and helping us raise over $509k for Susan G. Komen. What a way to end the MKP tour!"
