Angelina Jolie Won't Return For 'Wanted' Sequel

Angelina Jolie won't be brought back from the dead for the "Wanted" sequel.
Jolie's character Fox shot herself in the head at the end of the 2008 blockbuster, and fans have been holding out hope that movie execs would bring her back from the dead.
Screenwriters Derek Haas and Michael Brandt want to be realistic. Hass told Hollywood.com, "Angelina Jolie gets shot in the head and everyone's like, 'Oh, are you going to bring back Fox?' I said, 'Did you see the bullet go into her head?'"
However, James McAvoy is returning for the sequel: "The only thing I can tell you is that Wesley (James McAvoy) is now, four years later, recruiting a young woman who is in his situation in the first movie. She's got a sh**ty life. He's sort of in the Fox role. This new girl is brought into the world."
"Wanted" centered on a frustrated office worker (McAvoy), who learns he is the son of a professional assassin, and he shares his father's superhuman killing abilities.
