Director Steven Spielberg is heading to Pennsylvania next month to mark the 149th anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.

The Jaws filmmaker will serve as the keynote speaker at a Dedication Day ceremony on November 19 at the Soldiers' National Cemetery, where he will help to celebrate the historic speech, which was delivered to reiterate the importance of human equality during America's Civil War.

The event will take place three days after the release of Spielberg's upcoming biopic about the politician, which stars Daniel Day-Lewis.

The Oscar winner joins a long list of guests who have also been asked to speak at the dedication, among them his Jaws star Richard Dreyfuss and actor Stephen Lang.
