Bobby Brown's Wife Released From The Hospital
Bobby Brown took to the stage with New Edition in Florida two hours late on Saturday night after his wife suffered a seizure and was admitted to the hospital.
The singer was performing a sound check with his band mates at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando when his partner Alicia Etheridge, who he married in Hawaii in June, collapsed.
Brown went to the hospital with his wife, and she was released later that evening, according Florida news website Gossipextra.com.
The singer took to the stage at the hotel two hours later than planned, and Etheridge reportedly watched the show from backstage.
Brown did not address the drama during the band's set, but he did tell the audience about his recent stint in rehab, declaring, "I'm seven and a half years off of narcotics, 21 days clean of alcohol, and I go by the name Bad A** Bobby Brown."
Brown completed a three-week stint in rehab last month amid reports he was suffering from an alcohol problem.
