Prosecutors have reopened a probe into actress Amanda Bynes' road traffic accident in April after she was involved in another car crash earlier this month. 

The Los Angeles City Disctrict Attorney is taking a fresh look at the earlier case, in which Bynes is alleged to have crashed into a cop car, after a woman identified only as Kisa accused the Hairspray star of colliding with her Toyota on August 4, according to TMZ.com. 

Bynes was charged with driving under the influence in April, but pleaded not guilty in June and the case was thrown out as there were no independent witnesses to the incident. 

However, the case has been opened again after the incident involving Kisa.
