Ridley Scott Jets To LA To Attend Brother's Funeral

Filmmaker Ridley Scott joined family members and friends in Los Angeles on Friday to mourn the death of his brother, director Tony, who jumped to his death from a bridge in San Pedro, California on August 19.
The private funeral service was held at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Prometheus directed Ridley flew in from his home in London for the funeral.
The 68-year-old Top Gun moviemaker appears to have taken his life but police officials are still unclear as to what drove him to suicide.
Los Angeles County coroner spokesman Ed Winters tells The Hollywood Reporter that Scott left two separate notes for his family and friends. One note contained a list of people to contact, while a second contained specific messages to family members.
A memorial service for fans is still being planned.
