Metallica fans will be given the chance to see the band for just $5 at a concert which will be filmed for an upcoming 3D movie.
The Enter Sandman hit-makers have been filming a number of shows recently to provide footage for the project, and tickets for their upcoming performance in Vancouver, Canada on Monday will be given away for a fraction of the usual price to fans who want to get involved.
The show at the city's Rogers Arena will feature numerous breaks to allow the production crew time to set up cameras and the money raised will go to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
A statement posted on the band's website reads, "This Monday, August 27, we will be shooting what we hope will be the final live portion of the movie and have our last chance for quite some time to play on the gigantic, massive over-the-top stage... We would love to have you join us and be a part of our movie making adventure."
"Here's how it works: We will be running though the full live show one last time at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, but... there will be lots of breaks in it to allow for cameras and lights to be repositioned as the director sees fit. Since it is way more fun for us to have you there, tickets will be available for just $5 (no extra fees or service charges!) and all the proceeds will benefit the Greater Vancouver Food Bank..."
"Please come and plan to stay for a full night of fun and games... and who knows, maybe we'll see you on the big screen next summer!"
