Rapper Young Jeezy has been hit with a lawsuit from his own business partner.

Demetrius Ellerbee has accused the 34 year old, real name Jay Jenkins, of locking him out of royalties earned from several songs he helped produce and promote.

According to papers filed at the Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia, Ellerbee is seeking at least $5 million, as well as punitive damages for breach of contract and a handful of other charges, including conversion and fraudulent misrepresentation.

The entrepreneur is also seeking a declaratory judgment stating he is the co-owner of Corporate Thugz Entertainment (CTE Music), a company he allegedly founded with Jeezy in 2001, and is entitled to half of all the firm's earnings.

Bosses at Young Jeezy's record label, Def Jam Recordings, were also named as defendants, reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
