William H. Macy and his wife Felicity Huffman are facing a lawsuit from a woman who claims she fell down a staircase at their home in Los Angeles.

Lourdes Orozco is suing the famous couple after she allegedly sustained "serious personal injury" when she slipped on the stairs of their house in the Hollywood Hills in April, 2011.

In the legal documents, obtained by TMZ.com, Orozco claims the stairs were "dirty and poorly maintained," and lacked "regulated handrails," while the couple allegedly "knew or should have known" the stairway conditions "could easily cause anyone to slip and fall."

She is suing for damages in excess of $25,000 for lost wages and medical expenses.
