Kate Bosworth and filmmaker boyfriend Michael Polish are engaged. The actress subtly revealed the news in a recent travelogue blog for Vogue magazine.

Kate posted photos and notes from her vacation in South Korea, writing, "On our first day in Seoul, my fiance, Michael Polish, and I venture out to discover Changdeokgung Palace.
 
"As soon as we enter, it is like magically being transported to a different world - this awe-inspiring, sprawling place was originally built in 1405. We explore ancient towers, pavilions, and the beautiful 'secret gardens,' and the feeling is serene, peaceful, and ancient."

Kate and Michael have been together for just over one year. They met on the set of "Big Sur," which Michael directed.  The film, which has not yet been released, centers on the events surrounding Jack Kerouac's three brief trips to a cabin in Big Sur, California.
