Dallas star Jordana Brewster fears she'd never be able to live in the Texas city for real - because locals always dress up and rarely hang out in jeans and a T-shirt.

The pretty star plays J.R. Ewing's son John Ross' girlfriend in the revamped drama series and admits she has developed a love affair for the state where the show is based and filmed - but she couldn't live there full-time, even though her producer husband Andrew Form is a Texan.

She tells WENN, "I love Texas. I spent a lot of time in Austin before Dallas. I shot my first movie in Austin - The Faculty with Robert Rodriguez and then I met Andrew in Austin when I shot Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. I love it there."

"We would love to be able to have a house there, but I don't know if I could live in Dallas. I live in California, where you can basically wear whatever you want and be pretty casual and the lifestyle is laid back."

"In Dallas the women are dressed up at 7am and they're always in heels and if you go out to a restaurant they're never in jeans."
