R&B singer Usher has landed a one-year restraining order against a fan who insists she is his wife.

The Papers Hit-maker won a temporary ban against Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw last month after she showed up uninvited at his Georgia home and demanded to be let in.

She was arrested the following day when she returned to the property, telling cops she was Usher's wife and had misplaced her keys.

The singer was in court on Monday and breathed a sigh of relief after a judge agreed to make the ban more permanent by barring Jones-Rakestraw from approaching Usher and his children for one year, reports TMZ.com.

July has been a trying time for the star - his 11-year-old stepson Kyle Glover, whose mom is Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster, has reportedly been declared brain dead after suffering severe head injuries in a jet-ski accident on Saturday.
