Canadian actress Caterina Scorsone has given birth to her first child.  A midwife helped deliver the "Private Practice" star's baby at her home in Los Angeles. Daughter Eliza arrived on Friday.
 
The baby is Scorsone's first with her rocker husband Rob Giles, and they are delighted with the new addition to their family.
 
The couple told People.com, "We couldn't be more in love with her and are overflowing with gratitude for this beautiful miracle."
