Rihanna Jets Home To Mourn Grandmother's Death With Family
Rihanna has jetted back home to Barbados from London after scrapping an upcoming performance at the Rock in Rio festival in Madrid, Spain following the death of her grandmother.
Clara 'Dolly' Braithwaite lost her battle with cancer at the weekend - and the Umbrella hitmaker has chosen to head home to grieve with her family.
Posting a photo of herself boarding a plane on Tuesday, Rihanna tweeted, "Coming home to squeeze ya mama."
The singer was due to take the stage at the Rock in Rio festival on Thursday. It would have been her first performance since she was blasted by fans for appearing inebriated during a show in Sweden hours after the death of her maternal grandma.
Her trip home is set to be a short one as Rihanna is still scheduled to perform at this weekend's Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park.
