Actor Lane Garrison has been freed on bail as he fights a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.

The former Prison Break star was arrested in April amid allegations of a bust-up with his ex-girlfriend Ashley Mattingly at her home in Beverly Hills, California.

He is due to stand trial in July, but on Friday he was released after posting a $50,000 bond, according to TMZ.com.

Garrison had been kept behind bars because, at the time of his arrest, he was on probation following his 2007 conviction for vehicular manslaughter and drunk driving. He was released from prison in 2009 after serving part of a 40-month sentence.
