Former Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson is the new face of an online poker website.

The Blonde and Blonder star is the ambassador of BamPoker, a new virtual gambling site available through Facebook.com.

The game was launched by Canadian businessmen Elton Pereira and Jeremy Nichele, and Anderson is adamant they will offer poker fans a new way of playing on the web.

She says, "When I first met Elton and Jeremy, I knew they were on to something special. They weren't interested in creating just another game - they wanted to take the social elements of online poker in a bold new direction."
