Rapper 50 Cent has been hospitalized following a horrendous car crash in New York on Monday night.

The accident occurred on the Long Island Expressway after his SUV collided with a truck.

Medics raced to the scene and he was transferred to an ambulance on a stretcher and wearing a neck brace before being taken to a nearby hospital, according to fan site ThisIs50.com.

The rapper is reportedly undergoing tests on his neck and back, but there were no further details about his condition as WENN went to press.

According to the website, the other driver involved in the accident is also receiving treatment.
