Ryan Phillippe To Make Directorial Debut With 'Shreveport'

Actor Ryan Phillippe is set to step behind the camera to make his directorial debut with a film he has also written.
The talented MacGruber star will also star in indie thriller Shreveport, according to Variety.
The film chronicles a struggling actor's bid for freedom after he is abducted from a movie set, held hostage and tortured.
Phillippe co-wrote the script with first-time writer Joe Gossett.
