Eva Longoria's basketball star ex Tony Parker is nursing an eye injury after finding himself at the center of a New York club fight between rapper Drake and singer Chris Brown on Wednesday.
The San Antonio Spurs player was attending a birthday party for Ne-Yo's manager Javon Smith at Manhattan hotspot W.i.P. when a brawl broke out between the two musicians' entourages.
Brown suffered a nasty cut to his chin after he was hit in the face with a bottle, while four other people were left with bloody injuries too.
Now, Parker reveals he was also caught up in the fracas and was left hurting after small shards of glass got in his eye. He tells TMZ.com, "I was there with a bunch of friends when a fight broke out. They started to throw bottles about."
The French athlete has been ordered to rest for a week, but he insists the incident will not put a stop to his plans to compete in the Summer Olympics in London.
He says, "The cornea has been touched. I can't do anything for seven days. But I was lucky. The injury won't prevent me from competing in the Olympics in any way."
Police are currently investigating the incident.
