Chris Hemsworth wasn't about to let the media get the best of him Sunday when he was quizzed about little brother Liam's rumored engagement to Miley Cyrus, insisting he had no clue the couple was planning to wed.

Cyrus confirmed the happy news on Wednesday, and People.com has since learned her boyfriend of three years proposed last week.

But big brother Chris wasn't going to be the one to break the news when TV show Access Hollywood got wind of the engagement story at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.

Asked on the red carpet if his brother was planning to wed 19-year-old Cyrus, the Aussie hunk said, "Not that I know of... It would be a shock, wouldn't it?"
