Amanda Bynes Asks President Obama For Help Over DUI Arrest

After she was officially charged with driving under the influence (DUI), actress Amanda Bynes has asked President Barack Obama to intervene in her case.
On Tuesday, officials charged the star, 26, with one count of misdemeanour DUI stemming from an April arrest in which she accidentally drove into a police car.
She proclaimed her innocence on Twitter: "I was not in any hit and runs. I don't drink so the DUI is false."
Bynes then sent a tweet to Obama: "Hey Barack Obama...I don't drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don't hit and run. The end."
Bynes allegedly refused to take either a breathalyzer or a blood test at the scene, so District Attorney's officials are seeking a sentencing enhancement. If convicted, Bynes could spend a maximum six months in jail.
