Former American Idol contestant Brooke White has given birth to her first child, a baby girl.
 
The Hold Up My Heart hit-maker and her husband Dave Ray became parents to little London on Thursday, and they're overjoyed at the new arrival.
 
Ray tells People.com, "Baby London is here. Our girl came in at 6:41 p.m. and is eight pounds, 12 ounces!," adding that White and the baby "are both healthy as well."
 
Ray reveals the name is a nod to his family, which is from England.
