Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline is at the center of a new legal spat with a former landlord who has accused the dancer-turned-reality TV star of trashing his mansion.
 
Joseph Malek is suing Federline for rent he reportedly failed to pay and compensation for damage he allegedly caused to the Tarzana, California, estate in 2008.
 
The angry landlord claims his former tenant left owing him seven months of rent and $110,000 in damages.
 
In court papers obtained by TMZ.com, Malek claims Federline's smoking habit was responsible for some of the alleged damage, while the dancer left behind broken smoke detectors and glass bottles all over the yard.
