Scarlett Johansson hates rude fans who take pictures of her without asking, insisting the bad habit reminds her of the "worst in humanity."

The Avengers beauty has been in the spotlight since she was a child, but she will never get used to passers-by pushing camera phones in her face when she is out in public.

The star is adamant that she would never dare take someone's photograph without getting their permission first.

She tells the New Review, "I'm constantly surprised by how rude people are. You'll be having an intimate dinner with a friend and there's somebody on the table behind with a camera phone pointing at your face. I think, 'I would never take a photo of someone without asking'."

"I'm not traumatized by it but I find it can bring out the worst in humanity sometimes."
