Will Megan Fox Be A Good Mother?
It can't be disputed that Megan Fox has a big mouth. She has certainly said her share of controversial things over the course of her career. What will happen when her future children Google her? After paging through hundreds of sexy revealing photos they'll realize their mother is very vocal about her opinions. But is that a bad thing?
She was recently criticized for saying in France's April issue of Jalouse magazine, "I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl." The actress claims the actual comment was taken out of context and "grossly distorted." We hope that's true because we don't want a future daughter getting a complex after reading something like that.
One thing Megan may teach her child is the famous adage, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you." Fox's career took off after she appeared in the 2007 film "Transformers." Two years later she said about director Michael Bay: "He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for." Ouch. Needless to say, she wasn't asked to return for the third outing of the franchise.
What will she tell her kids about the birds and the bees? Probably that sex equals power. The actress told Rolling Stone in 2009, "Women hold the power because we have the vaginas. If you're in a heterosexual relationship and you're a female, you win." She added, "Men are scared of vaginas" and claimed hers was "a powerful, confident vagina." Should we praise her confident feminist stance or cringe at the bluntness with which she said it?
Lastly, perhaps there are some things you shouldn't share with your kids, much less the world. She told Wonderland magazine, "I constantly struggle with the idea that I think I'm a borderline personality - or that I have bouts of mild schizophrenia. I definitely have some kind of mental problem and I haven't pinpointed what it is."
The bottom line is this: just because she says stupid things doesn't mean she'll be a bad parent. But once the rumored baby is born, she may start thinking before speaking her mind.
