Rap mogul Marion 'Suge' Knight has fuelled conspiracy theories suggesting Tupac Shakur is still alive - reminding fans that no one saw the hip-hop icon dead.
Knight made the comments about Pac during a radio chat in Los Angeles on Friday, just five days after his rap rivals Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre wowed fans at the Coachella festival by projecting a hologram of Shakur onstage during their headlining set on Sunday.
And, with the world talking about the supposedly slain rap superstar again, Knight has taken the opportunity to suggest his old pal is alive, well and in hiding.
The fallen rap boss, who was with Shakur in Las Vegas the night he was shot in 1996, tells DJs Tattoo and Cee Cee the reason why the hip-hop star's murder remains unsolved is because it may have been staged.
He says, "Maybe the question is... Pac's not really dead... Pac's somewhere else."
And to support his theory, Knight reveals his protege's remains were whisked off after the shooting incident - and never seen again: "Nobody seen (sic) Tupac dead."
