Penn & Teller Star Raymond Teller Files Lawsuit Over Magic Trick

Penn & Teller's Raymond Teller is suing a Dutch entertainer over a magic trick.
The magician, one half of the famed Las Vegas double act, has filed suit against Gerard Bakardy - real name Gerard Dogge - accusing him of stealing one of his illusions and then offering to sell off the secret behind the trick.
In papers filed at federal court in Nevada on Wednesday, Teller claims Dogge's trick Rose & Her Shadow, which he has showcased on YouTube.com, is a copy of his own performance piece called Shadows, which he copyrighted in 1983, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
