Rocker Marilyn Manson is engaged again following a whirlwind romance with actress Seraphim Ward.

The 43 year old proposed to the 27 year old on Thursday night, according to a friend of Ward's. They have been dating for just a few weeks.

The source tells Life & Style magazine, "Marilyn proposed with a family ring. I think it was his grandmother's. It's Celtic, and Seraphim says it has a magical bonding to the receiver. They share an interest in the occult and have bonded fast."

The actress' publicist has subsequently confirmed the news.

Ward also posted a photo of herself wearing her new jewelry item on Twitter.com, accompanied by the note, "I am still speechless and in shock!"

Manson has reportedly bought his bride-to-be a new home in the Hollywood Hills.  Ward is currently filming her first movie, Speed Dragon.

Manson was previously married to burlesque star Dita Von Teese. He was also previously engaged to actresses Rose McGowan and Evan Rachel Wood.

UPDATE! Seraphim has denied the reports, tweeting: "I am NOT engaged to Marilyn Manson, I look up to him and his work! I am with an x-bandmate, but it is NOT Manson!"
