Nicki Minaj Says Her 'GMA' Nipple Slip 'Wasn't On Purpose'
Nicki Minaj has slammed reports her nipple slip on live TV last year was planned to boost the rapper's profile.
The star was left red-faced during an energetic performance on Good Morning America last August when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction and exposed her left breast.
Eagle-eyed TV producers managed to catch the incident just as her nipple started to show and blocked it from view with a blank grey screen for a few seconds while Minaj noticed the slip and covered up.
Gossips suggested the incident was a planned promotional ploy by the outlandish star, but now Minaj has angrily responded to the speculation.
In an interview with ABC's Nightline, she says, "I'm so sorry about that. People are ridiculous if they think that I would use that as a stunt."
"I would never, ever do something like that on purpose. I swear to God."
