Jessie J Heartbroken After Stabbed Fan's Death
Pop star Jessie J has told of her shock following the death of a fan who was brutally stabbed at her London gig last week.
Phillip Sherriff, 37, a father of two, had been hospitalized in a critical condition after he was attacked with a glass bottle in Pulse nightclub, where the Price Tag hit-maker had performed earlier in the evening. He passed away due to his injuries on Sunday morning.
After hearing the sad news, the singer took to her Twitter.com page to send condolences to Sherriff's grieving family.
She writes, "I am lost for words. All I can say is my thoughts, love and respects are with the family and children of the man who attended the Blackberry gig last week who sadly lost his life this morning. So sad..."
Suspect Ashley Charles appeared in court on Saturday after being charged with attempted murder. The 25 year old was refused bail and will next appear at Inner London Crown Court on April 20th.
