Kanye West Kanye West has upset animal rights activists at PETA once again by taunting them in his new song Theraflu.

The rapper previously fell out with executives at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals after they criticized him for stepping out in a fur coat and he hit back, calling his detractors "just plain idiots."

He has now incurred the wrath of PETA chiefs once again by baiting them in his new song, rapping, "Someone tell PETA my mink (coat) is draggin' on the floor."

PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews has slammed West for the jibe, but admits he still hopes the star will eventually change his mind and renounce fur.

He says in a statement, "What's draggin' on the floor is Kanye's reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings. He's a great musician but doesn't seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes..."

"We keep hoping that one day he'll find his heart and join evolved style icons - including Russell Simmons, P!nk and Natalie Portman - who have dropped animal skins."
