A representative for Jessica Alba has dismissed reports the actress has had a large design tattooed on her arm, explaining the body art is fake and for a new movie role.

The Sin City star sent gossips into a spin on Monday when she was spotted with the bed of roses design on her upper left arm as she spent the day with her daughters in Los Angeles.

However, the inking is not real - her rep tells Us Weekly it is a temporary tattoo for her new film A.C.O.D.
