F'd Up Singer Slams Katy Perry's Military Themed Video
Heavyweight punk icon Damian Abraham has criticized Katy Perry for "glamorizing war to sell records to idiots."
The peace-loving F**ked Up frontman was so appalled by Perry's new military-themed "Part of Me" video, he took to Twitter to blast the pop star for making a promo in which she signs up for the Army after a bad break-up and heads off to boot camp.
He wrote, "Seeing Katy Perry as a soldier in Part Of Me really makes me think that we need to start a war so she can go (and) die." He later added, "Yes, I'm aware my last tweet was kinda dumb but so is Katy Perry..."
Perry fans took aim at the bearded punk star, with one follower tweeting, "How mature of you to make such a mundane comment on a video that has gained 18+million views. Not a smart move really."
Another suggested Abraham was an "irrelevant dog shading queen Katy in order to get recognized."
