Actress Naomie Harris has spent two months in gun training for her role as a tough new Bond girl.
Harris spent weeks on a shooting range learning to fire guns to play special agent Eve in new movie Skyfall, in which Daniel Craig reprises his role as 007.
In a new video diary showcasing her progress, Harris can be seen working with experts as she gets to grips with a variety of weapons.
She says, "Eve is a field agent. She's very capable. She kind of sees herself as Bond's equal. She's not, but that's how she sees herself. I've been training for two months now. I've mainly been doing guns - machine guns and hand guns, in particular, Walther PPKs."
And the star admits she feels honored to be a part of the franchise, adding, "I'm just so excited to be part of this whole journey and it's a long journey - it's a seven-month shoot. It's the longest one I've ever been a part of but I'm just ready to ride the roller coaster..."
"Like most people in England, I grew up with (Bond movies) and I think they're amazing films and I've always loved them. I just couldn't believe that I was a part of all this. I still can't believe it."
