Pop star Rihanna poured scorn on a British reporter who dared to ask her about a rumored romance with Ashton Kutcher at a Battleship press conference on Wednesday.

The "Umbrella" hitmaker was in London promoting the film when one ITN hack asked her if she'd be taking Kutcher to the city's premiere.

Appearing disgusted by the question, Rihanna shook her head and said, "Wow, how disappointing was that question?"

Glaring at the reporter, Rihanna then replied, "I'm happy and I'm single, if that's what you're really asking."

The conference mediator quickly tried to move on from the awkward moment, asking for another question.

Rihanna and actor Kutcher were first romantically linked last week, when a report surfaced that she had spent time at his new Hollywood pad late one night.
