Marcia Cross headed to the woods on Sunday to celebrate her 50th birthday with a family adventure.
 
The "Desperate Housewives" star braved the rain with her husband Tom Mahoney and their twin daughters Eden and Savannah, five, to explore the California Redwoods and the birthday girl posted a photo of herself and her kids on Twitter.
 
Alongside the picture, she wrote, "In the redwoods for my birthday...so glam!!"
 
She also thanked fans for all of their birthday wishes, adding, "Thank you Thank you Thank you for all the birthday love. Makes turning 50 a wonderful thing!!!! Much love back..... XO".
